Time(s): Tuesday, January 14 from 2.30pm-4.30pm
Location: This session will run in the computer labs on Auahatanga | Creativity (Level 4) at Tūranga
Session Length: 120 minutes
Price: $24 for a student working on a movie, $36 for two students sharing a movie
Every movie uses special effects. Join us for this two-hour session to learn how you can enhance your own movies with some classic special effects techniques, such as using lines to get characters to fly, or learning how to set up your camera to create a first-person shot where the camera sees what the character does.
This session is great for beginner, intermediate and advanced movie makers who are interested in developing their storytelling and filming skills further. We'll start with the basics of stop-motion movie making and LEGO-specific techniques before students unleash their imaginations in their movie project. After your session, we will email out a link to download your file so you can show it off.
We recommend this class for students aged eight and over. Younger enthusiasts are welcome, but an adult will need to accompany them and help out (at no extra charge).
Imagination Station does not supervise students between classes, this is the responsibility of the parent/caregiver. Some courses may be run in multiple locations. Please check individual session listings carefully for details.
